Currently if you open "Create Annotation" dialog for amino acid and nucleotide sequences, you will discover that the lists of annotation types differs from each other. Now (UGENE-5180) the dialog of editing an annotation is the same.
So the following scenario takes place:
- Open an amino acid sequence.
- Create an annotation of amino acid type (not Misc.Feature).
- Open a nucleotide sequence.
- Drag the created annotation on the nucleotide sequence.
- Edit this annotation.
Current state:- In debug: assert will be triggered.
- In release: the list of annotation types contains the types for the nucleotide sequence. "Misc.feature" is selected instead of the right amino annotation type.
Find out what should happen on editing an annotation of different alphabet.
