Reference selection is not updated if reads selection is not changed in MCA Editor

Scenario to reproduce:

1. Select a symbol on any read.
   Expected state: the symbol is selected, there is a selection on the reference, the column is highlighted.
2. Select a symbol in another column on the reference.
   Expected state: the symbol in the read is still selected, the selection on the reference is in another place, columns under the reference selection are highlighted.
3. Click to the selected symbols in the reads area.
   Expected state: the symbol is selected, there is a selection on the reference in the same column where the symbol of the read is selected, the column is highlighted.
   Current state: the reference selection is not updated, it is still somewhere in another place.
