Scenario:
- Open the Workflow Designer.
- Create the following workflow: "Read Sequence" > "Find Repeats" > "Write Sequence".
- Select "Read Sequence", use the attached "testseq1.fasta" as input file.
- Select "Find Repeats", set "Max distance" to "0".
Current result: value "Any" is displayed for the "Max distance" parameter. - Search for repeats.
Current result: no repeats are found.
The reason of the issue is that there are "two" ways to ignore "Max distance" parameter:
- to set another parameter "Apply 'Max distance' attribute" to "False".
- to set "Max distance" to 0 (as described in the scenario, this way doesn't work).
Do the following:
- Set "Apply 'Max distance' attribute" to "False" by default as in the corresponding dialog in the Sequence View.
- Set minimum value of the "Max distance" parameter (if it is enabled) to "1".
- Modify the minimum value of the parameter in the Sequence View dialog as well.
