For very large alignments (several megabytes and more) the overview widget rendering in MSA Editor is slow. It may take hours to complete the initial rendering for 100Mb alignments and consumes 100% of a single CPU core.
When a user opens several files large alignments simultaneously all CPU cores are used by 100% and the whole OS becomes non-responsive.
The good solution is to optimize the overview computation.
The simplest fast solution is to disable the overview widget by default when a very large alignment is opening.
This task is to implement the simplest solution.
