Currently:
1. The same options from the "[log_settings]" group in the "UGENE.ini" are used from GUI and from CLI.
2. If an option has been once specified in the command line it can't be modified from the command line.
3. There is an "ini-file" option in the CLI.
4. In the CLI there are a lot of "log-..." options.
5. There is "date" option that actually shows only time.
6. In the CLI there is "log-color-output" that is absent in the GUI, but is applied (in GUI) when it is in the "UGENE.ini" file.
It must be fixed in the following way:
1. CLI mustn't store it's log setting in the "UGENE.ini" or wherever.
2. Each time UGENE is launched from the command line if an option is not specified THE SAME default value must be applied.
3. "ini-file" option mustn't be displayed to a user, but must be available (i.e. it must be possible to launch it on the release version!).
4. Number of the "log-..." options must be decreased, for example, in the following way:
4.1. Make option "log-level" with values "none", "error", "info", "details" and "trace".
4.2. Make option "log-format" with possibility to set level, category, datetime of the log. Make it possible to specify the datetime format in some way.
BUT!: For back-compatibility old option names must work, but mustn't be presented in the help information.
5. Taking in accout 4.2, "Date" parameter in the GUI must be renamed and a possibility to specify the date/time format must be provided.
6. Add the "Enable colored log output" check box to the Application Settings dialog.
