Minor 1. Open some msa (e.g. "COI.aln).
2. Select the second symbol of any row.
3. Press shift + left on the keyboard. Don't release the shift key.
Expected state: first and second symbols are selected.
4. Press shift + left on the keyboard again. Don't release the shift key.
Expected state: first and second symbols are selected.
5. Press shift + right on the keyboard. Don't release the shift key.
Expected state: the second symbol is selected.
Bug state:first and second symbols are selected.
This is a result of a leaving out of borders of the msa the virtual cursor. It is actual for all borders.
