Some qualifiers of annotations contain regions. There was a request to modify the qualifiers when a sequence is changed, for example, a nucleotide is inserted or deleted.
Examples of qualifiers see below:
On the tRNA and tmRNA notes. the tRNA feature has a very important qualifier called anticodon
which is something like this
/anticodon=(pos:678..680,aa:Leu,seq:taa)
or
/anticodon=(pos:complement(678..680),aa:Leu,seq:taa)also tmRNA has a very important qualifier called tag_peptide which goes ike this
/tag_peptide="116271..116303"
or
/tag_peptide="complement(116271..116303)"
