Fetch from remote database (DAS) doesn't work

Scenario to reproduce:

1. Select {File -> Access remote database}

   menu item in the main menu.

2. Set "UniProt (DAS)" database, use example resource ID, accept the dialog.
   Expected state: a sequence with annotations are fetched.
   Current state: nothing happens, you can see an error in the trace level of the log.

The service should be fixed.
A report should be shown.
A message on the error level should be written in the log.
