      Description

In the current UGENE version characters in the Alignment Editor are colored as square boxes. It is not possible to use colored font instead.
This coloring style is available in other programs and sometimes it is more appropriate for publications, presentations, etc.

      • Modify the "Create Alignment Color Scheme" dialog:
        • Add combo-box "Scheme type" with the following items: "Color boxes" and "Color font"
        • Make the dialog modal
      • Modify the "Color Scheme" dialog:
        • If type is "Color boxes": add a label "Font color:" followed by the clickable rectangle of the current text color. Clicking on the rectangle will open Color Selector dialog. Table of characters stays in the same state as it is now
        • If type is "Color font": the table cells are not colored, but the characters are. The color setting logic is the same
        • Make the dialog modal
      • Duplicate the following standard schemes in "Font" mode and add "(font color)" at the end of the duplicate name to differ them:
        • UGENE (nulc)
        • JalView (nulc)
        • UGENE (amino)
        • Hydrophobicidy (amino)
      • Copy in rich text format should save the font colors

For the layout details ask Eugenia Pushkova [X].
