There is no easy possibility to launch maintenance tool on Mac OS

On Mac OS X the application is stored as a bundle. It is possible to open the bundle content, however to do it a user should know how about this possiblity and he or she should know what to launch to get the maintenance tool.

This tool can be launched from UGENE only if a new UGENE version is available. But it can't be launched from UGENE to add or remove some components, e.g. external tools or the Cistrome data.
