Assert on expanding selection after double-click

Scenario:

1. Open "murine.gb".
2. Select the "Translate selection" option.
3. Double-click on the second annotation (CDS).
4. Try the expand the selection to the left.
   Current state: there is an assert.
   Expected state: the sequence selection is expanding and translation is updated according to the selection modification.
