Scenario:
- Open an alignment in the UGENE Alignment Editor.
- Select a region in some sequence(s) (e.g. columns 10..200).
- Hold Ctrl key (or Cmd on macOS) and click on a sequence name.
Current result: the whole sequence is selected.
Required modification: the region (e.g. 100..200) in the clicked sequence is selected. There is no more selection in the previously selected sequence.
Consider similar scenarios when:
- several sequences are selected at once using:
- mouse
- Shift hotkey is used
- the clicked sequence(s) is within/intersect the sequence(s) that were selected initially.
