There is a known problem with t-coffee package: https://github.com/cbcrg/tcoffee/issues/27
that causes memory overflow error on Linux computers when the current process id goes beyond the limit.
There is no publicly available solution for this problem to date.
For us, this issue is critical because UGENE starts t-coffee on startup to validate it.
The only good solution I see today is removing t-coffee from the bundle on Linux for the next release and waiting until the issue is solved and the new t-coffee version is released.
