Perhaps the problem is reproduced only on Windows.
- Create path "/Userr phd think pad/OneDrive - Higher Education Commission/Userr Data 01 August 1111/PhD DM/DNA Sequencing all/ngs Sequencing data 01 Jan 1111/FRESH WORK 01 JULY 1111/AAA2 AA AAAAA Jan 00A00000_R1 & R2.fastq/ugene work".
- Reset the settings to default.
- Open _common_data/scenarios/_regression/7700/bwa.uwl
The "Choose Output Directory" dialog appears. - Set the created folder as the required directory in this dialog.
- Click OK.
The Workflow window appears. - Set _common_data/bwa/control-chr21.fastq and nrsf-chr21.fastq as input to the "Read File URL(s)" element.
- Set _common_data/bwa/NC_000021.gbk.fa as the "Reference genome" of the "Map Reads with BWA" element.
- Run workflow.
Current state: crash.
Expected: one of the options:- an error at step of selecting Workflow Output Folder,
- a workflow validation error,
- the workflow task finished successfully, generating non-empty output files.
- Copy the file _common_data/bwa/pattern1/out.sam to the workflow output directory created by UGENE before the crash: "/Userr phd think pad/.../ugene work/YYYY.MM.dd_hh-mm/report/bwa".
- Reset the settings to default.
- Open the copied sam file from the long path directory.
The "Import SAM File" dialog appears. - Click "Import".
Current state: crash.
Expected: one of the options:- the ugenedb file is successfully created in the default directory and opened without problems in UGENE,
- by default, a different directory is suggested for saving the ugenedb file, it is impossible to specify an incorrect path, all auxiliary files are saved to the correct directory.
