The typical GenBank annotation of pseudogenes likes like this:
gene 106648..107590
/note="transposase, degenerate; this region contains one or
more premature stops and/or frameshifts"
/locus_tag="A35_B0064"
/pseudo
If you open such a file in UGENE and export them again to a GenBank file, it merges the last two lines and produces the following output:
gene 106648..107590
/note="transposase, degenerate; this region contains one
or more premature stops and/or frameshifts"
/locus_tag=""A35_B0064" /pseudo"
