Minor When I launched UGENE from the universal package on Ubuntu 11.10, an error appeared in the console:
Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "pixmap"
Launching of the command solved the problem:
sudo apt-get install gtk2-engines-pixbuf
