In the current UGENE version 1.16.2 there are too many places to configure visualization settings of the Sequence View.
- A green arrow on the toolbar can be used to hide/show Overview, Zoom View, Details View.
- Corresponding buttons on the toolbar can be used to show/hide complement strand and translations.
- To show/hide different translation frames, one has to select an item in the submenu "Translation frames" in the menu, opened when the translations button is clicked on the toolbar.
- There is separate button on the toolbar to show/hide a chromatogram, a circular view.
- To show/hide 3D structure of proteins, the green arrow is used as well.
There should be a more appropriate way to set up all the settings. Make sure that the settings are stored between different UGENE sessions.
